On May 20, in Almaty, with the assistance of the organizer of the International Exhibition HomeTech & Electra 2025 — the company World Silk Way — a meeting took place between Mr. Shi Guoping, the ambassador delegated by the municipality of one of the world’s largest ports, the city of Ningbo, and the leadership of the Entrepreneurship and Investment Department of Almaty.
The purpose of Mr. Shi Guoping’s visit was to establish partnership relations and discuss the possibility of granting the status of sister cities to Ningbo and Almaty. During the meeting, the participants expressed mutual interest in developing long-term interaction and cooperation.
Recall that from August 7 to 9, within the framework of the International Exhibition HomeTech & Electra 2025, a Special Sector of the city of Ningbo will be presented in Pavilion 11 of the Atakent International Exhibition Center. On an area of 700 sq. m., electronics and household goods will be showcased; in addition, meetings with buyers and distributors from Central Asia are planned, as well as the participation of representatives from Ningbo Smart Living in the project’s business program.
The organization of the special sector is supported by the municipality of Ningbo (PRC) and aims to promote high-quality, innovative, and eco-friendly products from leading manufacturers.
